What is media?

 Hey readers This week we have been learning about all the different types of media. There are three different types of media we are learning about they are called broadcasting media, online media and print media. here is a Venn diagram that i made to help you understand.

Toolkit

Today lots of schools went on hangouts and learnt about cool things.

we had so many technical problems with the internet that when we went on a hangout it was hard to see and hear so i could not understand much

we had different sessions with other schools and they taught us how to use Serten apps on chrome.

my favorite was pixten comics we learnt how to make a cool comic with backgrounds characters overrall it was really fun

 What I know about blog commenting is:

where you ask them questions say what you liked in there blog post, make sure its thoughtful, helping and thoughtful, don't be mean or rude.

introduce your self in all blog comments so they know who you are.

 help to get better at there what they need work on.

share what you think on over peoples blogs.

last work we learnt how to put a link into a comment.

Zendoodle

hey boys and girls,

this week we have been working on Zendoodle. A Zendoodle is a drawing with a string dividing different parts of the drawing or art. the reason we are making Zendoodle because later on we are going to it on pirates.

If you do a bad job or blow up the ship Long Irish ginger will kill you. If you're not already dead and there is a monkey on our ship it might attack you. If you try to betray us we will throw you over board or have you hanged from the crows nest . But don't let this put you off.

Payment includes a bed (but beware sometimes it floods and it gets really cold at night) and 26% of any treasure that we find if you would like we can get you unlimited supply of anything (including frozen cokes).  We will also provide you with weapons for battles including bombs and guns.

You will join us on our next adventure to Treasure Island. 

But beware if you get lost or leave us we will leave you behind on the island!

awesome cartoon faces

Hey Readers

This week we have been learning how to draw cartoon faces using google drawing. First we had to trace our face and hair then we zoomed in on our face and traced all light bits including our eyes and nose. Once we have done all our details on our face we started to color our face by using this extension called color picker. after we have done coloring my face we remove all the lines

Oobleck

Hey readers today I made some oobleck for science.

when you roll the oobleck into a ball or squish it really hard it will stay as a solid but if u stop rolling squishing it the oobleck will turn into a liquid.

Hey readers, this is my art I created for anzac day.
I made petals out of a recycled egg carten and painted them red. I stuck black buttons in the middle to look like a poppy. I also added some grass using pastel and 3 carboard crosses to make it look better.

My Gran and Grandad gave Ollie and I these little tunnel houses,
our Dad had some plastic and frost cloth, we used this to fix them up.
We had some seeds that where given from friends and some from our gardening shed,
what we had to do is get trays and then full them half way with dirt and then put the seeds.
I found some ice block sticks and we wrote on them with a vivid to make sure we know what the seeds are.
Then we put more soil on and we were ready to go.
We placed the trays on black weed mat misted them with the hose and covered them with our tunnel houses.
